GEOSCIENCE & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Decades of Proven Hydrogeology and Environmental Consulting Experience

Groundwater Monitoring

WET provides a wide range of groundwater monitoring services and is well qualified to perform monitoring of various types: landfill monitoring, private water well analysis, Non-Aqueous Phase Liquid (NAPL) contaminated sites, CCR, and MGP. We have completed projects with various contaminants of concern (COCs) such as MTBE, gasoline and diesel fuel, organic solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria, nutrients, and others.

Groundwater Modeling

An in-depth understanding of groundwater and surface water systems is integral to facility siting, assessment of contaminant transport, construction dewatering, or remediation purposes, as well as potential adverse effects on water supply or water quality.

Hydrogeology

WET’s staff has the most significant hydrogeologic expertise in the region, with in-depth project experience characterizing site geology and hydrogeology influencing the movement of groundwater and chemical constituents.

Site/Remedial Investigation

Once an environmental impact has been identified, WET personnel have extensive experience in the delineation of the magnitude and extent of the impact, and the development of a unique monitoring or remedial action plan to address the identified impact.

Remediation Design & Construction

WET’s multi-disciplinary approach to soil and groundwater remediation integrates technical expertise for complex projects.

Underground Storage Tank (UST) & Aboveground Storage Tank (AST)

WET personnel have provided Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) consulting services on hundreds of sites including gasoline, diesel, and oil facilities.

Water Well Design & Production

WET’s geoscience personnel have extensive experience in siting and development groundwater supply and production wells, including well design, permitting, and source water protection.

Water Rights

WET is experienced in all aspects of water right consulting, including adjudication, new appropriations of both surface water and groundwater, and change applications.

Superfund

From site investigation to remedial planning and design, to construction and long-term operation, WET can provide complete project life cycle support.

Risk Assessment

WET staff can provide human health risk assessment services for Federal Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and State of Montana Comprehensive Environmental Cleanup and Responsibility Act (CECRA) sites.
