GROUNDWATER MODELING
Modeling for groundwater and surface water
An in-depth understanding of groundwater and surface water systems is integral to facility siting, assessment of contaminant transport, construction dewatering, or remediation purposes, as well as potential adverse effects on water supply or water quality.
Accurate field data collection is critical to assisting model development, including accurate geologic logs, monitoring, and gauging of surface water and groundwater, and sample collection.
WET is capable of developing groundwater models for use in designing dewatering systems, groundwater control systems, and effects of large production wells on nearby users.
WET is also capable of surface water depletion models to estimate stream loss due to groundwater pumping and determine potential adverse effect on senior water rights holders.
