WET’S EMPLOYEE OWNERS WORK HARD AND PLAY HARD

As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, WET understands the significance of this balance and has adopted to work diligently, but also have fun togethers by organizing fun events that foster fellowship and well-being among each other.

For anyone who is unaware of what an ESOP company is, it is a company in which the employees own a vested portion of the company’s stock. This ownership structure not only aligns the interests of employees with those of the organization, but also encourages a strong sense of ownership and commitment to the company.

While hard work is essential, ESOP companies also understand the importance of creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. Here at WET, fun events and activities play a significant role in achieving this balance.

Recognizing and celebrating company milestones, individual achievements, and work anniversaries is common in ESOP companies. WET does this every year by recognizing employees that go above and beyond when it comes to their work at every quarterly staff meeting and then recognize a Most Valuable Owner each anniversary year.

WET also hosts family-friendly events, such as picnics and holiday parties, to involve employees’ families and strengthen bonds outside of work. We just held our annual ESOP Summer BBQ with amazing food, coloring shirts for kids, and cornhole for the whole family! Even though the summer sun is still shining hot, our annual Christmas party planning committee is already set, and we are already planning on a great time with door and drop-box raffle prizes, fantastic food, and a kid’s fun room as family is always first at WET!
