US FOREST SERVICE AIR MONITORING IN KOOTENAI NATIONAL FOREST

WET is supporting the USFS in identifying appropriate respiratory protection requirements for workers in the Kootenai National Forest by performing Industrial Hygiene Air Monitoring on USFS personnel working around a former vermiculite mine, which poses a risk of asbestos exposure for Forest Service personnel while working and fighting wildfires in the area. The exposure monitoring is required to ensure proper safety and health protocols are in place.
