BUTTE CITY BREW DEVELOPMENT PROJECT—GRANT ADMINISTRATION UST REMOVAL

Butte, Montana

WET provided planning, permitting, and civil engineering design and continues to provide environmental consulting services at a former gas station, a grant-funded redevelopment site, in Butte, Montana.

The project utilized funding from the Butte-Silver Bow Hard Rock Development Assistance Program and WET’s scope of work included conducting a Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (ESA), asbestos inspection and reporting, UST removal, site demolition, planning/civil engineering design, and construction oversight for the construction of a new City Brew coffee shop and café at the location. WET served as project manager for all phases of work—assessment, UST removal/petroleum cleanup, and civil engineering design and construction oversight—illustrating his ability to assemble and manage a multidisciplinary team for redevelopment projects involving hazardous materials contamination.
