TIFID CIVIL SITE WORK PROJECT STORMWATER DESIGN

Butte, Montana

WET was hired to complete a stormwater plan design for a multiphase development for six 9,000 to 12,000 square foot commercial buildings in the commercial subdivision in the Montana Connections Business Development Park. WET completed a stormwater design for the full build out of the site including all proposed impervious areas and allowed for site developers to construct buildings and paving areas without needing to resubmit stormwater plans to BSB for review. The project design included grading, valley gutters, stormwater mains, inlets, and large retention ponds to meet the requirements of the Butte-Silver Bow Municipal Engineering Standards (BSB-MSWES). WET also provided construction oversight and prepared record drawings of the constructed stormwater system. Overall, the project included:

  • 1,040 feet of concrete valley gutters
  • 95 feet of 8-inch storm main piping
  • 640 feet of 12-inch storm main piping
  • 280 feet of 15-inch storm main piping
  • 100 feet of 24-inch culverts for multiple site approaches
  • Six stormwater inlet structures
  • Three large stormwater retention ponds
