WET has extensive experience writing and acquiring federal, state, and local permits related to Streambank Protection or Restoration projects.
Depending on the project location, the permits may include USACE 404 permits, FEMA floodplain permits, Montana Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act Permit (310 Permit), Montana Floodplain and Floodway Management Act Permit (Floodplain Development Permit), Federal Rivers and Harbors Act Permit (Section 10 Permit), Montana Short Term Water Quality Standard for Turbidity Authorization (318 Authorization), and Montana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (MPDES) permit. WET has been successful in obtaining these and other permits for streambank protection and restoration projects and has completed post construction monitoring activities per permit requirements.
