WET has extensive experience writing and acquiring federal, state, and local permits related to streambank protection or restoration projects
Depending on the project location and scope, a variety of permits exist that can be required for your project. These include United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 404 permits, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) floodplain permits, Montana Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act Permit (310 Permit), Montana Floodplain and Floodway Management Act Permit (Floodplain Development Permit), Federal Rivers and Harbors Act Permit (Section 10 Permit), Montana Short Term Water Quality Standard for Turbidity Authorization (318 Authorization), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and Montana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (MPDES) permit. WET has been successful in obtaining these and many other permits for streambank protection and restoration projects. WET is also qualified and adapt at completing post construction monitoring activities per permit requirements.
