SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Water and Environmental Technologies (WET) is a 100% employee-owned engineering consulting firm headquartered in Butte, Montana with branch offices in Anaconda, Bozeman and Great Falls. WET is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer to help manage the Bozeman office and support civil engineering and environmental remediation projects. The WET Bozeman office currently has 3 employees. The Bozeman Branch Manager will work closely with other project managers and engineers to help manage the Bozeman office as a part of WET’s overall business strategy. Work requires knowledge of civil and environmental engineering, business development, personnel and project management, , and applicable regulations. Candidates must be self-motivated, energetic, and willing to excel in a team environment. This position will also support projects across Montana, and the Rocky Mountain and Pacific regions.
Annual base salary ranges from $70K – $90K DOE. Salary also includes performance-based bonus. Retirement benefits include an Employee Sponsored 401(k) plan and a WET ESOP.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or preferably higher in Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field and 5 plus years of professional project management experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Montana, or the ability to obtain registration within 1-year is preferred. The ability to attain PE licensure within other states in the region is also a plus.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, creative and have strong organizational, inter-personal communication, writing and presentation skills. Candidates must have the ability to function with little direction to meet project goals and to take conceptual direction for project tasks and develop detailed design plans and specifications.
- Candidates must manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall projects are aligned to and directly support the achievement of strategic objectives required.
