HIGHWOOD LAGOON RELINING AND SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

WET was contracted to complete funding agency coordination, design, and construction oversight for a project to recondition two aerated wastewater treatment lagoon cells for Highwood Water and Sewer District. The project included a PER update and preparation of plans, technical specifications, bidding, and contract documents. Additionally, the project included construction oversight, resident project representation, and as-built preparation. The construction work included removal and replacement of the aeration system lagoon components, sludge removal and disposal, liner removal, pond subgrade reconditioning, exposed liner installation, and miscellaneous valve reinstallations.
