ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE GUIDELINES

WET supported a client to draft community noise requirements for residential land use protection. The client planned to lease land for commercial purposes to a business that had the potential to create noise in a residential area. In order to be good neighbors, the client reached out to WET to assist in identifying appropriate noise limits to protect the acoustic environment of nearby residents and ensure the business leasing the land incorporated noise controls into the facility design from the start.
