Water & Environmental Technologies, Inc. (WET) is a technical environmental and engineering consulting firm committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. We believe innovation and creativity come when companies advocate for a varied range of experience, talent, and ideas.
To continue our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we are offering a scholarship for first year college students who share our passion and vision to expand the perspectives shared and voices heard. WET will award two (2) $1,000 scholarships.
This scholarship is open to all Montana and Wyoming High School students, but preference will be given to those who are members of an underrepresented class*.
- 1. Print or type the information on this form. Illegible or incomplete applications will not receive consideration.
2. This application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation. This letter should be from a teacher, counselor, employer, or other non-family member that has knowledge of your accomplishments.
3. This application must include an official transcript.
4. Attach to this application an essay about the following topic:
“What is the importance of diversity and inclusion?”
Please relate the topic to a personal experience (school project, summer employment, sports activity, etc.) which was improved or made possible through diversity and/or inclusion.
a. Essay should be no more than 300 words.
b. Essay should be numbered and include the student’s name on each page.
*Underrepresented classes may include but are not limited to: disability, education, ethnicity, first-generation college student, gender, income, race, sexual orientation, etc.
