BSB SANITARY PRETREATMENT SERVICES

WET has assisted the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow (BSB) with pretreatment consulting services for the past 10 years. BSB was required to implement a pretreatment program when its first Categorical Industrial User (CIU) began discharging to the wastewater treatment plant. WET assisted BSB in the development and implementation of its pretreatment ordinance, inspection and sampling program, surcharge fee development, and other program components. WET also helped BSB develop and implement multiple sector control programs including Fats, Oils, and Greases (FOG) and Trucked/Hauled Waste. WET has worked with BSB and various industrial users in developing pretreatment requirements and compliance schedules. WET has a positive working relationship with the EPA Region 8 Pretreatment Coordinator, and its pretreatment team has been working in this space for over 10-years.
