Butte, Montana

WET has recently completed four PER’s after writing several successful Coal Board Program (CBP)

grant applications for Butte-Silver Bow city-county. The PER’s have included:

  1. Sanitary sewer extension to South Butte with gravity sewer main and lift station/force main alternatives
  2. Moulton Reservoir Rehabilitation
  3. Sanitary Sewer rehabilitation or replacement of 5517 linear feet in uptown Butte

WET followed the PER requirements as set forth in October 2013, Ninth Edition Uniform Application for Montana Public Facility Projects. WET has followed projects from inception to obtaining funding mechanisms, including completing the engineering analysis, completing the PER according to the specified format, completing the Environmental Assessment, completing the Uniform Application in request for Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP) grant funding, and preparing speaking points for representation in the Montana State Legislature. The projects were successfully ranked to obtain future funding. The Uniform Application has been adopted by the Montana Board of Investments INTERCAP Program, Montana Department of Commerce (MDOC) Community Development Block Grant Program, MDOC Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP), Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) State Revolving Fund Program, Montana DNRC RRGL/RDGP Programs, and the Department of Agriculture Rural Development Program.
