BSB MS4, ORDINANCE, AND DESIGN STANDARDS

WET worked with BSB to develop, codify, and implement the BSB Stormwater Ordinance 10-13 and associated Engineering Standards. Our team researched funding mechanisms within the region and assisted with development of the stormwater fees for residential and commercial entities within the county. WET assisted with the implementation of the standards upon adoption via answering questions from local engineers or developers, designing stormwater controls, and reviewing applications for adherence to the engineering standards. WET also prepared the Phase II MS4 stormwater permit for the City of Butte and the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT). The permit included the preparation of a Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) to address the six minimum control measures as required in the Phase II regulations. The SWMP also identified stormwater monitoring requirements for specific outfall locations.
