MONTANA POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (MPDES) & STORMWATER
WET has completed permitting and inspection services for construction sites and industrial facilities across Montana and surrounding states
WET provides the following types of MPDES permitting services:
- General Permit for Stormwater Discharge Associated with Construction Activities
- When a construction project disturbs one or more total acres of land, General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activity is needed.
- WET provides Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Preparer and Administrator Certification/Recertification training, as approved by the State of Montana.
- Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activities: Industrial sites such as landfills, wastewater treatment plants, and mines require MSGP stormwater permit coverage. This process involves submitting a Notice of Intent (NOI) and a SWPPP. Industries must comply with both general and sector specific requirements detailed in the permit.
