YELLOWSTONE RIVER HOME RETROFITTING

WET was hired to perform civil engineering design activities related to retrofitting a home in a flood-prone area on the banks of the Yellowstone River after the home was subjected to flood damage during the historic 2022 flooding season. WET utilized the United States Army Corps of Engineers HEC-RAS and CivilGEO GeoHECRAS modeling software to model existing and proposed conditions as part of a floodplain encroachment analysis in a successful effort to obtain a Floodplain Development Permit.
