    SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION

    Water and Environmental Technologies (WET) is a 100% employee-owned engineering consulting firm headquartered in Butte, Montana with branch offices in Anaconda, Bozeman and Great Falls.  WET has a dynamic and positive work environment, competitive salary, employee stock ownership (ESOP), an attractive benefits package, and a diverse client base throughout the region.

     

    WET is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to manage and support civil engineering and environmental remediation projects. This position will be located in the Butte office and will support projects across the Rocky Mountain and Pacific regions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and management of topographic and utility surveys, design of environmental and civil projects, preparation of construction plans, preparation of technical specifications, construction management, and client communication.

     

    Annual base salary ranges from $50K – $70K DOE. Salary also includes performance-based bonus. Retirement benefits include an Employee Sponsored 401(k) plan and a WET ESOP.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or Environmental Engineering or related field, with 3-5 years professional experience.

     

    • Registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Montana with the ability to readily attain PE licensure within other states in the region is a plus.

     

    • Candidates must be self-motivated, creative and have strong organizational, interpersonal communication, writing and presentation skills. Candidates must have the ability to function with little direction to meet project goals and take conceptual direction for project tasks and develop detailed design plans and specifications.

     

    • Candidates must possess strong computer skills including: Word, Excel, Google Earth, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis. Knowledge with Leica GeoOffice and Microsoft Project is a plus.
